One national financial intelligence unit received over three million transaction reports in 2025 and sent about four case files per thousand onward for investigation

Netherlands financial intelligence unit annual review for 2025. Incoming reports were 3.5 million in 2024 and over 3 million in 2025, the latter published only as "over 3 million" with no precise figure. The onward total fell 22.3 per cent on the unit's own statement.
Of the reports it took in, 3.07 per cent became declared suspicious transactions and 12,143 case files reached the investigation and prosecution channel. The unit publishes no count of investigations opened or prosecutions brought.
