Counted field by field off the numbered annexes. The 2017 annex numbers fields 70 to 77 of its Table 2 as a repeatable block; each is counted once, as the annex numbers them. The 2024 Table 3 heading was not captured in either read pass, so it is identified by its field names, the highest of which is field 29, Collateral Event date.
Eighty nine fields were added and 104 existing ones amended. The count can be read directly off the legal text and was independently stated in prose by two United Kingdom authorities three years earlier. The two routes agree exactly.
