Resolution authority quarterly dashboards, each opened individually. Bank counts stop being published from the fourth quarter of 2023 onward. The 99.87 per cent fall is derived here, across a changing population, and the population change matters: a measure taken over 79 groups in 2020 and 83 in 2025 is not quite the same measure.

The gap against final targets fell 99.87 per cent between the middle of 2020 and the end of 2025, and touched zero at the end of 2024. The population being measured grew from 79 groups to 83 over the same period.
