The 2025 amendment left the 90 per cent gas storage target intact and made it almost impossible to miss

Regulation (EU) 2025/1733 did not reduce the 90 per cent figure. It let the target be met at any point across a two month window, made the filling path indicative, and stacked five separate deviation allowances on top worth up to 25.54 percentage points.
